Deputies stop 2 Sacramento teens from possible sex trafficking trade

"And then they were texting someone on the phone, and that person was giving them answers", Miracle said.

An American Airlines ticketing agent used her instincts to save two underage girls from getting lured into flying to NY to meet a man who had promised them jobs in modeling and entertainment industry.

Those suspicions were compounded when the unaccompanied teens, neither of whom had identification, presented one-way first-class tickets that were booked using another person's credit card. "It just doesn't feel right to me, '" she said.

Further suspicion arose when she found out that the girls were not accompanied by an adult and neither of them was carrying any IDs.

Miracle noticed the ticket from Sacramento to NY was purchased online, the credit card was in a different name and something else. In this photo, American Airlines signage is seen near the ticket counter in its terminal at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois, Dec. 10, 2004.

Drey had offered to fly the girls to NY for the weekend and pay them $2,000 to model and be in music videos. A sum of $2000 was promised as compensation.

Miracle told the girls they wouldn't be able to get on the flight, and called the Sacramento County Sheriff's airport bureau and explained what was going on.

Sanderson notified the girls' parents after.

'Do not test Israel's resolve', Netanyahu warns Iran
That was the most serious confrontation yet between Israel and Iranian-backed forces based across the border. Netanyahu brandished what he said was part of an Iranian drone sent from Syria last weekend.

"I fully believe she probably prevented these girls from becoming victims".

Before the girls had even attempted to go through security or board the plane, airline agent Denice Miracle immediately knew something was off judging by the way they were interacting with each other, she said.

Deputy Todd Sanderson arrived and talked to the girls who informed him they had just called a man named "Drey", whom they had met on Instagram previously.

'In my opinion, what was going to happen was they were going to go back to NY and become victims of sex trafficking.

Sanderson praised Miracle's presence of mind which could very well have saved the teenage girls from meeting with a potential sex trafficker.

"She probably really was their miracle that day, whether they want to believe it or not", he said.

Sanderson said it would be hard to prosecute "Drey" from outside the state, as he was also likely using fake details and images on his social media accounts. It's unlikely the man will be prosecuted over the incident.

The girls were reunited with their parents, KTRK reported. There is no word on whether "Drey" has been caught by officials, or what charges he might face, KTRK reported.
