Disney's Christopher Robin Trailer Debuts!

Christopher Robin Winnie The Pooh Disney

Check out the Christopher Robin trailer below.

Disney's live action version follows the animated film in 1977. Disney has unveiled the first trailer for Christopher Robin featuring Ewan McGregor as the adult Christopher. The same actor, Jim Cummings, is still voicing the iconic Pooh - this time just in realistic CGI.

The first trailer finds Christopher Robin forced to cancel a planned weekend getaway with his family, as his demanding boss (Mark Gatiss) pressures him to stay. "The movie is so full of joy and emotion and also of scenes that I think are very timely", Forster told Entertainment Weekly. The film stars multiple Golden Globe and Emmy® nominee Ewan McGregor ("Fargo") as Christopher Robin; Golden Globe nominee Hayley Atwell ("Agent Carter") as his wife Evelyn; Bronte Carmichael as his daughter Madeline; and Emmy victor Mark Gatiss ("Sherlock") as Keith Winslow, Robin's boss. "(Pooh) is still as relevant today as he's ever been. I'm cautiously optimistic. But after seeing Goodbye Christopher Robin recently, I'm not sure how I feel about the continued exploitation of Pooh. Christopher Robin is set in the late 1940s, and stars McGregor as a World War II veteran who has returned home to his wife (Hayley Atwell) and young daughter.

If the title sounds really familiar, you might be thinking of Goodbye Christopher Robin, a biopic of Winnie the Pooh author A.A. Milne that came out previous year. Now his childhood friends Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and more must help him remember his past as they venture into our world.

The live-action Marc Forster-directed adventure, based on the beloved characters created by A.A. Milne, released the teaser on Tuesday (March 6).
