Richard Sherman Out in Seattle?

There could be some sleepless nights in Seattle for Richard Sherman.

Cornerback Richard Sherman is rumored to have been traded from the Seattle Seahawks and will be patrolling the secondary in a different National Football League stadium come the 2018 regular season.

Sherman, 29, was subject of trade rumors during the 2017 offseason but ultimately remained with the Seahawks.

Sherman was scheduled to meet with Pete Carroll and John Schneider this week.

Jeremy Lane was the first to give a hint something was going on.

Chandrababu Pulls Out Ministers From Modi Cabinet
He said funds will be allotted according to the Finance Commission's recommendations but not on the basis of regional sentiments. However, in January this year, the state government modified the request and demanded the money through NABARD.

However, a tweet from ESPN's Josina Anderson indicated that Sherman denied the reports. Seattle cutting Sherman shouldn't be such a big surprise since he is coming off a major injury and set to make $13.2 million in 2018.

And safety Kam Chancellor posted on Instagram to thank Sherman for granting him the nickname, "Chancellor of Operations". "Haven't been told anything", he reportedly said. We have to believe Sherman's own mother knows something concrete.

Several NFL insiders also reported Wednesday the Seahawks traded defensive end Michael Bennett and a fifth-round pick to the Eagles for wide receiver Marcus Johnson and a seventh-round pick.

As for Sherman, even though he's coming off a torn Achilles tendon, the veteran corner will nearly certainly receive interest around in the league from teams looking to bolster their secondary.

He is entering the final year of his contract and if he is released the Seahawks would save $11 million against the salary cap. The likelihood is that he becomes a free agent by next Wednesday, March 14, and the potential is there for the Patriots to take a look.
