Geneva Motor Show: Rimac C_Two Unveiled - Specs, Features & Images

But first the facts! The Concept Two can go from 0-60 miles per hour in 1.85 seconds, and up to 100 km / h in 1.97 seconds. And if those figures don't peak your interest, we don't know what will! The new Rimac C_Two further takes things to the next level from the limited production Rimac Concept One hypercar which was produced till 2017. The battery pack is a 120kWh lithium manganese nickel unit - a chemistry that company founder Mate Rimac tells evo provides the best balance between delivering huge power (1.4 megawatts of it) and suitable longevity - and can be recharged to 80 per cent capacity in as little as 30 minutes, using the car's 250kW charger. The front wheels each get a single-speed transmission and each of the rear wheels has a two-speed gearbox using a carbon clutch. The motors are also oil cooled since they are extremely high performance. The top speed is 412 km/ph and it can reach 300 km/ph in just over 11 seconds. And then there is the active rear wing that can adjust minutely while the vehicle is in motion and turns into an air brake at the touch of a button. You can't argue much about the design, which also features active aero flaps at the front, while the body is dressing up a carbon fiber monocoque and carbon subframe. Even the wheels on the Rimac C_Two are aerodynamically created to reduce drag, cool the brakes and make more downforce.

It's hard to know which aspect of Rimac's C_Two is most impressive.

And the clever tech continues, drivers can choose between drift and what Rimac calls "extended drift mode" that adjusts the torque vectoring and offers power to whichever wheel really needs it.

You could even make a case for the autonomy and infotainment systems - all developed in-house, of course, because Rimac isn't just a auto company but a technology one, creating and supplying solutions to global OEMs.

Fire departments provide smoke detectors amid rise in fatalities Featured
Whether you're awake or asleep, a working smoke alarm is constantly on alert, scanning the air for fire and smoke. Vacuum or dust your smoke alarms according to manufacturer's directions to keep them working properly.

The vehicle has Level 4 autonomy, so it will basically be able to drive on its own but will still require a driver to be behind the wheel. There's eight on-board cameras, a lidar sensor, six radar emitters and twelve ultrasonic sensors.

As part of its autonomous capability, the C_Two's systems can load selected race tracks in real time, offering guidance on racing lines, braking/acceleration points and steering inputs.

And so we come to the way it looks.
