Blue's Clues is coming back to television, and you have a chance to be a part of it. This new take on the series will feature a "refreshed signature look". Blue supplies clues to help viewers interactively solve a puzzle, while Steve or Joe, directly addressing the audience, goes through a series of related mini-puzzles. The series continues to air past episodes in different worldwide markets and via Noggin, Nickelodeon's subscription-video service.

Preschoolers in the late '90s grew accustomed to watching host Steve Burns and his successor Donovan Patton follow Blue around the home, but now the network seeks a new host to investigate the puppy's blue paw-prints. A spin-off, "Blue's Room", centered on the canine character, ran between 2004 and 2007. She told Variety that the show needs a special sort of host. It received nationwide acclaim for telling an entire storyline through the entire episode, even though most children's shows tell stories "magazine style", where the episode is broken up into segments, according to Deadline. One of TV's most famous dogs is set to win over a new generation of kids with all new episodes as well as a new host.
