Russia: Ex-aide refuses to co-operate with Mueller probe

After Series of Bizarre Interviews Nunberg Changes His Tune on Cooperating With Mueller

Wiley, a racial justice expert, joined the MSNBC segment shortly after Nunberg noted that he had been fired from the Trump campaign following the discovery of racially charged Facebook posts that he'd allegedly authored.

And despite Mueller's "witch hunt", despite Putin's smarts and Trump's apparent lack thereof, Nunberg said he still has a amusing feeling Trump did "something" shady during the 2016 election.

He said he had been summoned to appear before a grand jury on Friday but would not, nor would he produce evidence. Including CNN anchor Erin Burnett who, as part of a half-hour "Erin Burnett OutFront" interview with him last night, said-within the first couple of minutes of the segment-that a Trump ally told her that Nunberg is drunk or off his meds. Nunberg rejected any notion that Trump had colluded with Russians.

Trump also asked his former chief of staff, Reince Priebus, how his interview with the special counsel investigators had gone and whether they had been 'nice'. Rather than daring the special prosecutor to throw him in jail and repeatedly asserting that he is "not cooperating", Nunberg sounded chastened and said he was diligently working to aggregate the emails the subpoena demanded. There, Melber and a panel of legal analysts attempted to talk to Nunberg about his decision to defy Mueller's subpoena, which he appeared to bring with him to the studio. But the interview soon turned into an impromptu legal counsel session. "The way they ask questions about anything I heard after I was sacked from the campaign, to the general election, to even November 1, is insinuated to me that he may have done something, and he may very well have". He denied having had anything to drink and told her that he had taken antidepressant medication.

In addition to calling Trump an idiot and slamming Hicks, Nunberg also went after White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Jimmy Kimmel mocks Trump for thinking he caused the Oscars' low ratings
Ratings have been steadily dropping since 2014 when the Academy Awards ceremony garnered 43.7 million viewers. President Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to blast the record-low TV ratings for the Oscars .

He did, however, reverse his opinion on cooperating with Mueller's investigation, telling the AP, "I'm going to end up cooperating with them".

"My plan is to spend many hours to comply with the subpoena", he told TheWrap Tuesday morning. He delighted in the social media attention that his statements were receiving, at one point yelling, "Number one on Twitter", according to Yahoo!

"It's absolutely ridiculous I should spend more time on this s-".

"I believe Carter Page was colluding with the Russians", Nunberg said on CNN.

Special counsel Robert Mueller has gathered evidence that a secret meeting in the Seychelles just before the inauguration of Donald Trump was an effort to establish a back channel between the incoming administration and the Kremlin - apparently contradicting statements made to lawmakers by one of its participants, according to people familiar with the matter.
