WR Robinson to ink 3-year deal with Bears

Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports

Once he signs, Robinson will be reunited with former Penn State teammate Adrian Amos.

Robinson, who the Jaguars drafted in 2014, has 202 catches for 2,848 yards and 22 touchdowns in 43 games. Robinson followed it up with an 883-yard, 6-touchdown season in 2016.

Well, I guess we can cross receiver off the Chicago Bears' shopping list.

ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported the news, while NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said that the deal is expected to feature about $25 million in guaranteed money. Robinson immediately slots in as the No. 1 option in Chicago where he'll be paired up with young signal-caller Mitchell Trubisky in the new-look Bears offense under head coach Matt Nagy.

Breeland, formerly of the Washington Redskins, combined for 50 tackles, 19 pass deflections and one interception, one in which he took back 96 yards for a touchdown.

House Intel Panel Will Announce End Of Russia Probe Interviews Monday
The House Intelligence Committee has finished all of its interviews in its congressional Russian Federation investigation. The agencies have repeatedly asserted support for those findings, even as Trump's appointees took the helm.

Former Penn State wide receiver Allen Robinson will be suiting up with a new National Football League team next season. But remember, Robinson is coming off a season-ending injury.

The first free-agent wide receiver is reportedly off the board. He tore his ACL on the third play from scrimmage during the season-opener against the Texans in Houston. Terms of Robinson's deal are unknown as of this posting. Chicago's leading receiver previous year was Kendall Wright with 59 receptions for 614 yards.

But, hey, free agency doesn't even really start until Wednesday, and that's what the draft is for, isn't it? But the expectations will be high considering his contract and potential. White and Wheaton were busts, Eddie Royal didn't pan out and neither did Cruz.

Those misses at receiver set up this offseason for it to be priority No. 1, and Pace got the No.1 guy.

So, it's fair to say that the Dawg Pound will just have to wait and see.
