"I do": queen gives permission for Prince Harry to marry Meghan Markle

In a letter to the Privy Council, a formal advisory body to the monarch comprised of senior politicians, judges and bishops, the queen confirmed her approval of the wedding of Harry, the fifth-in-line to the throne, and Markle, star of US TV drama "Suits".

The royal family's matriarch has given her blessing for her grandson's wedding.

When the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got engaged, the Queen signed an Instrument of Consent in February 2011 describing Kate as "Our Trusty and Well-beloved Catherine Elizabeth Middleton".

Not only is this royal declaration adorable, especially when she calls Harry her "most dearly beloved grandson", but it's also an excellent reminder of an important fact: Harry's real name is Henry and Meghan's real first name is Rachel.

Donald Trump's new steel tariffs to impact Croatian industry
While steel employment is off 54 percent since 1990, the production of steel (by the Federal Reserve's measure) is up 18 percent. Roosevelt passed legislation empowering the executive branch to set tariffs through reciprocal bargains with other nations.

The six people it now applies to are Prince Charles, Prince William, his son Prince George and daughter Princess Charlotte, Prince Harry and finally the Duke of York.

Prince Harry, the 33-year-old son of Prince Charles and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, is now fifth in line to the throne. They will invite over 2,000 members of the public onto the grounds to watch their carriage procession as they prepare to exchange vows.

But Harry's Los Angeles-born actress fiancee is simply "Rachel Meghan Markle". The Palace said 1,200 people from all around the United Kingdom will be nominated to attend by nine regional Lord Lieutenant offices.

The prince and the American actress will tie the knot on May 19 at Windsor Castle. Do you think it's good that the Queen has to approve weddings of her six successors?
