Seahawks 86'd Kaepernick Workout Over Kneeling Stipulation

Kaepernick won't stop kneeling?

There has been a perception in sports media that teams are hesitant to sign Kaepernick because of possible controversy over his political views, which comes up frequently whenever a supposedly inferior quarterback gets a job in the NFL.

We're told Kaepernick would not agree to that stipulation - so the Seahawks called off the workout, despite the fact travel plans had already been arranged.

National Football League teams have signed at least 50 quarterbacks since Kaepernick became a free agent, and the consensus was that a lot of them were inferior talent-wise, according to a list compiled by the Undefeated. "There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder".

More than 250 people killed as military plane crashes in Algeria
Passengers from Western Sahara, a disputed territory annexed by Morocco after Spain withdrew in 1975, were among the fatalities. Four years ago, another plane carrying military personnel and family members crashed in Algeria, killing 77 people .

The Seattle Seahawks postponed a planned workout with quarterback Colin Kaepernick after he told them he was yet to decide whether he would continue his national anthem protest. He opted out of his $126 million contract with the 49ers early in 2017.

On Thursday, the Seattle Seahawks would postpone Kaepernick's workout.

However, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the Seahawks didn't postpone the meeting exclusively because Kaepernick declined to stop kneeling. However, the Seahawks visited with him in May 2017 and the Baltimore Ravens also considered bringing him in for a visit last summer. He was quickly joined by his San Francisco 49ers teammate Eric Reid before players on other teams followed suit. This entirety of this is still fluid that could see a major shift in either direction in the coming weeks and months of the offseason that will have an impact on what lies next for Kaepernick in the NFL. Davis, who was on a one-year deal, is now a free agent and the team also recently released Trevone Boykin, leaving them with zero options behind Wilson at the moment. The former 49ers quarterback began kneeling during the national anthem in protest of police brutality and treatment of minorities in 2016 and has not backed down from his public comments or work in the community.
