CBI grills Tejashwi for 4 hours

CBI questions Tejashwi Yadav for four hours conducts search at Rabri's residence

"Rabri is a Z-plus category protectee and as per the Special Security Group Act-2010 of Bihar, she is entitled for a security cover of 36 security men". The move followed an order issued from the state home department, which is under Chief Minister and JD (U) national president Nitish Kumar.

Amid row over withdawal of BMP personnel from the residence of former CM Rabri Devi, the state police headquarters has clarified that the security cover of RJD chief Lalu Prasad's family consisted of personnel more than what they are individually entitled for.

Hitting out at the Nitish Kumar government, Rabri's son and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav said that he and his brother were also giving up their security so that the state government stops indulging in "petty politics" and does some development work.

A few hours earlier, CBI sleuths had conducted a search of the residence and questioned Rabri Devi and her younger son and Bihar Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav in connection with the Railways' hotel tender scam.

Jordan calls for investigation of chemical attack in Syria's Douma
To the moment, there are no reliable reports explaining how the attack took place and how many people have died. The State Department says it is monitoring reports of the possible chemical weapons attack.

As a mark of protest, all RJD lawmakers have also chose to surrender their official security cover, calling the downsizing of security "vendetta politics by the BJP and the JD (U)". "But we will continue going across Bihar and meeting people".

The plot was given to family members of Mr Prasad using as conduit, the Delite Marketing Company, owned by RJD MP Premchand Gupta, Mr Modi pointed out. Those who remained were part of the security cover provided to me and the residence allotted to me in the capacity of Former Chief Minister, Rabri wrote in a letter addressed to CM Nitish Kumar.

An anguished Rabri Devi, in her dramatic style, told media that the chief minister was conspiring to harm them, and that her husband's life was in danger. Several RJD legislators also started surrendering their security guards to the government.
