The trailer is out now and it has got a really strong story about a kid Jake who will break the gender stereotypes. The film also stars Academy Award-winning actress Octavia Spencer as the head of the school in which their son Jake studies. PeeCee is in the trailer, albeit only for a few seconds here and there, which is a huge disappointment for PeeCee fans. It is based on the directors own play which was done in 2013. The movie has been screened for the first time at the Sundance Festival, where it received positive reviews. "A Kid Like Jake" also features Priyanka Chopra, Amy Landecker, and Ann Dowd as an opinionated grandmother. These two are quick films.

Priyanka Chopra makes a brief cameo in the trailer and is shown at a dinner date with the lead actors of the film in a restaurant talking about how much difficulty a child faces in kindergarten. "Please let me tell you right now, these are not some Priyanka Chopra movies, these are just very interesting parts which I have done in two really awesome films with some wonderful actors".

The actress is now gearing up for the release of season 3 of the television drama thriller series Quantico.

Chopra took to Twitter to share the trailer with her fans and express her excitement over her new project.
