"Congratulations. Really rare in football that you win as an individual, but this team lifts from personality, players and I am really happy to be "your manager over the past year", said Klopp".

Mohamed Salah has been voted the PFA Player of the Year for the 2017-18 season after a stellar first campaign at Liverpool. "To break the Premier League record is something huge in England and all over in the world".

Mohamed Salah has been crowned the 2017/18 PFA player of the year after the spectacular season he's had with Liverpool. "I'm very proud to win".

Meanwhile, De Bruyne's masterful trickery and vision have given Guardiola's side fresh impetus this season, with the Belgian registering the most assists in Europe's top five divisions with 15, as City clinched the Premier League title easily.

Salah, who moved from Roma in July, became the first player to be named the Premier League Player of the Month three times in one season.

As with the births of their last few children, the couple opted out of discovering the baby's sex before the delivery day. Jay Schwandt says there's "no chance" the couple will have another child, though he's made similar statements before.

His sensational debut season at the Reds saw him score a total of 41 goals in all competitions, while breaking a number of records.

It's testament to Salah's unbelievable form that he's beaten Manchester City's de Bruyne to the award, with the Belgian midfielder having played a crucial role in Pep Guardiola's men sealing the league title earlier in April.

Salah has scored an incredible 31 goals in 33 league games in his first year for Jurgen Klopp's side and now leads the race for the Golden Boot.

Salah is a shoo-in for Liverpool's end-of-season accolades and the man nicknamed "The Egyptian King" looks set to reign at Anfield for a long time to come.
