Man City earn record-breaking farewell for Yaya

Yaya Toure of Manchester City is foiled by Kolo Toure and Emre Can of Liverpool during the Capital One Cup Final match between Liverpool and Manchester City at Wembley Stadium on February

Toure will play his final home game tonight before leaving to bring the curtain down on eight successful years with the big spenders.

"Yes. Definitely", he reportedly said when asked if he was staying in England.

"I know they had a lot of money and world-class players, totally the opposite of what Steven's got to face, but it's a massive club and a great start for him to see how a big club works".

City boss Guardiola said: "97 points, a lot of goals, a lot of wins - that's a outcome of the season we have done. I have, maybe, two more years at a high level".

Reports claim that as many as six top-class players are on City's shortlist including Chelsea star Eden Hazard and Leicester City ace Riyad Mahrez whom Guardiola wanted in January.

The midfielder has won seven trophies during his time at the club, including three Premier League titles.

While Matic is of course now a rival across the City of Manchester at old foes United, the majority of the duo's battles have come when the Serbian was plying his trade at Chelsea.

Trump Offers NEW Details On US-North Korean Summit
The US president is promising to personally meet them when they arrive back on American soil tonight. "This was a hard decision". They were seated with medical personnel in a curtained off area of the plane.

"I'll never forget it, they missed big chances".

Making his first league start of the season, Toure turned on the style with a clever cutback to Gabriel Jesus as City looked to restore their lead, only for the striker to slice wide.

Brighton beat Manchester United in their last match - the only team to beat both Manchester clubs in consecutive Premier League matches are Tottenham (4-1 vs Manchester United, 1-0 vs City in January, 1996).

"I feel so comfortable here, we feel we are loved", he said. At half-time, we were almost fighting in the dressing room.

"It's fantastic because we did that (break the records) in the day we always will remember - the day for Yaya". That's why we won the game.

The Ivorian has been one of the club's most influential players since his arrival from Barcelona in 2010 and was the driving force in the Premier League successes of 2012 and 2014. "It was brilliant, awesome".

A strong showing from the struggling visitors earned a valuable point which may be enough to keep them in the Premier League for a second season, an impressive achievement given their limited resources.
