This year's theme is "Who's it All About?" and provides an opportunity for all to engage in dialogue about who is impacted by mental illness.

"The earlier you're able to identify those behavioral health issues then you're gonna be able to work on those a little bit quicker and hoping that recovery will be just around the corner", says Melissa Moore. There is no shame in asking for help and there are multiple agencies willing to listen and provide the support needed.

"What we're trying to do is build awareness of how common mental illness is in the community and get people to where they can recognize the signs and symptoms of someone having a crisis or in distress and build resources in the community", said Monica Staar, a Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

"It needs to go much further in considering how to prevent mental health difficulties in the first place".

Responding to the report, Saffron Cordery, deputy chief executive of NHS Providers, said the organisation welcomed the select committees' "strongly worded critique", arguing that the report highlights the scale and urgency of the challenges that surround children's mental health.
