Margot Kidder, best known for her role as Lois Lane in the "Superman" films of the 1970s and 80s, has died.

In light of Superman actress Margot Kidder's tragic death on Sunday, Superman Returns star Brandon Routh shared some heartfelt words to express his grief and reflect on the late Lois Lane's legacy.

So far, the cause of death has not been said, but I hope that it was peaceful and that she got to enjoy Mother's Day with her daughter before she passed away.

Kidder came to embrace her fandom, becoming a regular on the con circuit.
