U.S. diplomat involved in deadly crash leaves Pakistan

Diplomatic sources say Col Joseph Emanuel Hall leaves in a 'special plane'

"We can confirm that the American diplomat who was involved in a tragic auto accident on April 7 in Islamabad has departed Pakistan", the spokesman said in an email to Reuters.

An American diplomat, who was initially barred from leaving the country after being involved in a fatal traffic accident, has left Pakistan, a U.S. State Department spokesperson said on Monday. A case was registered but he was never formally arrested due to diplomatic immunity.

The local police had handed over all records related to Colonel Hall to the USA officials, the report said.

Hall ran a red light in Islamabad on April 7 and hit motorcyclist Attique Baig, killing him.

On Saturday, the authorities in Pakistan prevented the Colonel Hall, from flying out of the country.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola fears Liverpool title threat next season
That would mean Ederson Moraes returns in goal for the champions, with Chilean worldwide Claudio Bravo making way. In the middle of the park, Fernandinho will assume duties as the defensive anchor to shield the back four.

On April 7, the United States diplomat had hit a motorcyclist with his Land Cruiser SUV as he jumped the traffic signal at the intersection of Margalla Road and 7th Avenue in the federal capital.

Hall is a certified envoy who enjoys diplomatic immunity, the sources reasoned regarding his release, adding that Pakistani laws are not applicable to him.

The incident also created a diplomatic row between Pakistan and U.S. as both nations placed retaliatory restrictions on diplomats. The US government had refused to exempt Joseph from the diplomatic immunity, said sources.

The Islamabad High Court on Friday ordered the Interior Ministry to put the diplomat's name on its Exit Control List.

The United States and Pakistan imposed travel restrictions on each other's diplomats last week as the dispute continued to simmer.
