IPhone X Tesla Costs $4600 consists of Self-Charging Solar Panel

Russian luxury accessory-maker Caviar has introduced a $4500 solar-powered iPhone X, which it has dubbed the iPhone X Tesla. If you look closely, the handset bulks up a bit with the addition of the expensive case.

The solar energy-harnessing components aren't just for show, either. Caviar says the phones are equipped with a special battery charge indicator and a number of other high-end features for any eco-conscious consumers.

The case is made of carbon fiber and the panel is shock-resistant.

Of course, the ability to charge your iPhone on the run comes with a tradeoff.

Possibly the phone bearing this case is more functional, assuming the solar panels work as promised and the iPhone isn't constantly in a pocket. It's about 16.2mm compared to the usual 7.7mm. The phone also has a lovely case that stores it in a snug manner.

Arsenal to hold talks with Thierry Henry over manager's position
The 68-year-old Frenchman has hailed his former captain, who he says has "all the qualities" to manage the Gunners going forward. Mattias is ESPN FC's Arsenal correspondent.

Apparently the company produced 99 of the iPhone X Tesla's, but after pre-orders exceeded the number the company decided to make 999.

Caviar seems to be taking its Musk inspiration seriously, too.

According to AppleInsider, Caviar planned to produce only 99 units of iPhone X tesla but based on high demands and pre-orders, the company will now make 999 units. And this new iPhone is named as "iPhone X Tesla".

You pay the money to Caviar for adulation towards Nikola Tesla, towards Steve Jobs and towards, yes, Elon Musk of Tesla Motors for the massive ground they have broken in technology - the latter two marking more territory on green technology. It will be the only version that has the words "Made on Earth by humans" in honor of Musk's own marketing stunt earlier this year when he launched a Tesla Roadster into space on the back of Space X's Falcon Heavy rocket.
