Jared Kushner receives full security clearance

Jared Kushner speaking in New York City Nov. 18 2010

And in February The Washington Post reported that several other overseas nations - UAE, China, Israel, and Mexico - were discussing ways of manipulating Kushner to push US foreign policy in each nation's favor.

White House special advisor Jared Kushner, son-in-law of President Donald Trump, boasts an enormous portfolio of domestic and worldwide responsibilities despite having no experience in politics before the 2016 campaign.

Kushner's permanent clearance was granted after career officials completed the Federal Bureau of Investigation background check process, according to the person familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.

Kushner's lawyer said Wednesday that Kushner completed the background check process that began past year.

Kushner's clearance has been contested over the last few months after he was stripped of his credentials in February. Back in March, 25 House Democrats called for the president's aide to either resign or get the ax after officials from Qatar claimed they could prove that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) influenced Kushner, which, in turn, resulted in President Donald Trump endorsing a Qatari blockade. "Having completed all of these processes, he is looking to continue to do the work the President has asked him to do".

"A year ago, Jared was one of the first to voluntarily cooperate with any investigation into the 2016 campaign and related topics", said Lowell, Kushner's lawyer. The ousted White House staff secretary worked with the same temporary clearance Kushner had at the time, and Kushner reportedly had a dispute with John Kelly when the chief of staff tried to address the scandal by yanking security clearance from anyone who didn't have full clearance.

Suspect Named in Leak of 'Vault 7' and Top-Secret CIA Hacking Tools
Prosecutors, the Times also reports , plan to file a new indictment against Schulte that pertains to the leak , within 45 days. Schulte is being held without bail on child pornography charges brought against him in Manhattan federal court.

Kushner subsequently amended the form once again after it was revealed that he met with Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya, who had met with him based on the promise that she had damaging information on Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

The delay in Kushner's case was caused by a backlog in the new administration and Kushner's extensive financial wealth, which required lengthy review, Lowell said.

The Kushner team believes he is now finished with all ongoing inquiries, which also include the investigations by congressional committees, according to a person close to Kushner.

Career officials approved the clearance following the background check, the newspaper reported.

Kushner's initial SF-86 form did not mention any foreign contacts, though he quickly supplemented it to indicate that he would provide that information. "In each occasion, he answered all questions asked and did whatever he could to expedite the conclusion of all the investigations". He submitted another addendum in mid-May 2017 detailing more than 100 calls or meetings with representatives of more than 20 countries.
