Arsenal Emerge As Surprise Contenders To Sign Marouane Fellaini

Arsenal have emerged as shock contenders to sign Marouane Fellaini this summer.

Marouane Fellaini is a man who divides opinion among Manchester United supporters.

Earlier this week, The Sportsman reported that new Gunners manager Unai Emery is interested in making the Utd midfielder his first signing at the Emirates.

Juillard told followers on social media that Fellaini will meet with Arsenal reps "at the beginning of the week".

Metro claim he has already rejected two offers from United and that the Gunners will now meet his representatives this week.

Phoenix killings of psychiatrist, 2 women linked
A man suspected of killing at least four people in Scottsdale, Arizona is dead, law enforcement sources told ABC News. Police say one of the women managed to walk to an intersection to seek help despite a gunshot wound to her head.

Fellaini could leave United for Arsenal on a free transfer.

Fellaini had reportedly been close to agreeing a deal with AC Milan, before the move slowed down over his demands for a contract worth approximately €120,000-per-week after tax.

Fellaini, who now gets £80,000-a-week at Manchester United, reportedly wants an improved contract from the suitors and Arsenal might very well hand him that.

The Belgium worldwide is out of contract at the end of June and would be able to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer.

Fellaini, who made his name at Everton, is now away with Belgium's World Cup squad and is not expected to make any decisions over his future until he returns from Russian Federation next month. So it makes sense that they are going after free agents with Stephan Lichtsteiner also linked.
