John Cena Featured In Bumblebee Trailer

John Cena Transformers Bumblebee

Travis Knight, known for Kubo and the Two Strings, directs the film.

Paramount Pictures has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Bumblebee, the forthcoming spinoff from the studio's robot-filled, action-packed, formerly Shia LaBeouf-starring Transformers film franchise. And for added nostalgic appeal, Bumblebee is in his original Generation One guise of a VW Beetle, which, for anyone slightly nonplussed by the fussy designs of Bay's Transformers movies, is a welcome change of pace. The tone is said to be more in line with a coming-of-age/teen movie, with Bumblebee featuring as one of the only major Transformers in the film. Pamela Adlon, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Drucker, Kenneth Choi, and Rachel Crow co-star in the film, he first since last year's "Transformers: The Last Knight".

Clocking in at almost two and a half minutes, it's not a "teaser" in the strictest sense, but it certainly achieves what teasers typically aim to accomplish: It establishes a tone that sets it apart from the previous film in the blockbuster franchise, Transformers: The Last Knight, placing the emphasis on the relationship between Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld) and the fan-favorite Autobot, and offering a taste of the humor.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Pre-Order Details Leak Early
If you buy the Special or Ultimate Edition, you'll get more than you will with the standard version of the game. This includes a "Cash Bonus" for the game's Story Mode, an Outlaw Survival Kit and a War Horse mount.

Bumblebee rolls out into theaters December 21.

Set in the 1980s, Bumblebee sees the eponymous yellow Autobot befriend a tomboy teen named Charlie Watson, played by Pitch Perfect franchise star Hailee Steinfeld, who discovers him in a California junkyard.
