Now, customise your swipe actions on Gmail app

Gmail for Android has supported a swipe gesture within the mobile app for quite some time, but, up until today, it has been severely limited in scope. With these shortcuts you can easily churn through that daunting inbox with hundreds of unread messages, and whittle them down in a flash by swiping left or right.

Google finally adds new gesture options to Gmail for Android. Earlier this swipe action was confined to just archive irrespective of the work.

Dwane Casey, Detroit Pistons agree to 5-year deal
Dallas posted a 162-84 (.659) mark during that span, winning 50 or more games in each of his three seasons with the team. Under Casey, the Raptors won four Atlantic Division titles and advanced to the playoffs in five consecutive seasons.

However we suppose this could still come in handy for users who might be left/right handed and might prefer to use the left/right swipes for different actions than what's being offered in the default settings. Google is not the first one too offers its email platforms users with such options, there are plenty of other platforms which are already serving this feature. With Gmail 8.5.20 Google is now giving users no fewer than five actions to choose from when performing a left or right swipe.

As you can see in the screenshot above, users now have the option of changing what those swipes mean. No word on whether iOS users have the same features enabled for them yet.
