Meghan Markle's wedding dress goes on sale to the public

Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leave Windsor Castle in a convertible car after their wedding in Windsor England to attend an evening reception at Frogmore House

According to the latest reports, nearly 30 million people watched the ceremony, which was broadcast on 15 networks in the U.S. To give some context, when his brother Prince William married Kate Middleton, it only drew 23 million viewers. The Duchess of Sussex apparently told the crowds: "I'm really enjoying it".

While the Queen carried her trademark black Launer handbag on her arm, Meghan held a clutch bag in her hand.

For the actual ceremony, watched by millions around the world, Markle, now called the Duchess of Sussex, wore a sculpted long-sleeved dress with a boat neck by Clare Waight Keller, the British designer of couture house Givenchy.

While the former Suits alum was spotted in trousers on her several royal outings, Queen never wears trousers, and Meghan also made sure to opt for a skit for the important occasion.

"The role that she's taken on it's very austere, it's very sort of serious and I think there's a great weight that she has. acquired through that and she takes it very seriously", she said. What's interesting is that she ditched her signature messy bun and instead left her hair open.

She told The Express: "Meghan's mirroring of Kate now involves wardrobe and body language mimicry and this reflects a degree of submission to show a desire for rapport and team acceptance".

Dishaw noted that how Meghan travelled with the monarch without wearing a hat.

Still, Markle had love on the brain and proclaimed about Prince Harry: "He's the best husband ever", reports PEOPLE.

She was invited to stay overnight in the Queen's private train, suggesting the two have a true friendship blooming.

"I fell in love with Meghan so incredibly quickly", Harry said.
