The entire royal family including for the first time Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, was to gather on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at the conclusion of the parade to watch a fly-over by the Royal Air Force.

Thousands of spectators flocked to London for the annual spectacle, hoping to catch a glimpse of the glittering house of Windsor, jamming the royal parks near the parade grounds.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are back from their honeymoon.

Markle looked stunning in a blush dress by Venezuelan designer Carolina Herrera, which she paired with a flat-brimmed hat in the same shade.

Attending with parents Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte had a blast playing outdoors, running barefoot and doing headstands on the grass.

Her husband, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, turns 97 on Sunday and has retired from public duties.

The Queen wore a cornflower blue look for the Trooping the Colour.

The parade, which has marked the official birthday of the British Sovereign over 260 years, brings together over 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians.

But her late mother-in-law, strictly speaking, should not have even been at parade because, at the time, she had not yet married into the Royal Family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga, and New Zealand in a tour to coincide with the Invictus Games which will be held in Sydney from October 20 to 27.

One Twitter user commented saying, "Can Meghan Markle for once just follow protocol and not show her shoulders or push the limits?!"

The event usually carries a "no ring, no bring" policy, which Queen Elizabeth waved out of respect to her eldest son. Meghan and Harry have stated their desire to jump right in and get to work in their new roles. They are expected to travel to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, made a decision to change things up from her signature bun hairstyle and don bouncy blowout curls during her Trooping the Colour debut earlier today!
