XXXTentacion dead after Florida shooting

According to the celeb news site, XXXTentacion was shopping for motorcycles when, as he was leaving a dealership, someone ran to his auto and fired.

The rapper, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy has reportedly been struck by multiple shots, with witnesses claiming that he had no police.

As the industry reacts to the Onfroy's death, social media has been flooded by mixed reactions, given the artist's history of alleged domestic violence, armed home invasion, harassment and battery.

The rapper was shot and killed Monday.

According to the celebrity-news site, the 20-year-old chart-topping hiphop star seemed to be the victim of a targeted hit in Broward County. TMZ posted police dispatch audio following the shooting, which revealed Onfroy had been transported to hospital as a "Level 1" trauma patient.

Rapper XXXTentacion has been shot in Miami, news outlet TMZ reports.

The Sheriff's Office later tweeted that "the adult male that was taken to the hospital has been pronounced dead".

"His second album, "?", was released on March 16, 2018 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. He was released from jail on house arrest late a year ago.

Tyga, a California rapper signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment, said it's "so sad to lose good artist" via Twitter. A judge in March granted his request to be freed from house arrest in order to take his music on tour.

"He also wanted to cut out my tongue because I was singing the song", she said, according to Pitchfork.

XXXTentacion, released his debut album in August 2017.

After his music was briefly removed from Spotify under its prior controversial "Hate Content and Hateful Content Policy", the rapper spoke out on Twitter.
