Arsenal Sign Bernd Leno From Bayer Leverkusen

Bernd Leno

Arsenal have reportedly agreed to sign Bayer 04 Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno for £19.3m.

The Gunners are yet to confirm the length of Leno's contract, but the 'keeper is expected to be viewed as a longterm replacement for Petr Cech.

Wilshere, who was left out of the England World Cup squad, said on his Instagram account that he would leave Arsenal when his contract expired at the end of June after discussions with manager Unai Emery, who replaced Arsene Wenger last month.

Arsenal new boss Unai Emery see the German shot stopper as the flawless addition to his squad following Cech's inconsistent performances late in the Premier League and uncertainty over David Ospina future with the club.

Last week, Arsenal signed former Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free transfer and Granit Xhaka signed a new deal.

Leno is now set to take over the number one shirt for Unai Emery next season at The Emirates.

"Arsenal is such a big club all over the world and in Germany Arsenal is so famous too".

DOD suspends planning for Ulchi Freedom Guardian exercise in South Korea

Evidently, Wright is very impressed by the way Arsenal are approaching their summer business.

He got his first senior global call-up in 2015 and has won six caps for his country.

"Bernd has consistently performed well for our club over the years and has become a national player here".

The midfielder made 197 Arsenal appearances, having debuted in September 2008 aged 16 and 256 days - the club's youngest league player. Later that season he then played a major part in our FA Youth Cup victory, scoring in the final against Liverpool.

"After a fantastic seven years, I will now continue my way in another, very exciting league".

"During his time with Arsenal, Jack scored some memorable goals, winning BBC Match of the Day's Goal of the Season in both 2013/14 and 2014/15".

However, the Gunners posted two thank you messages on Twitter. It costs a lot to produce, so many publications facing an uncertain future can no longer fund it.
