#HotGoss: Beyonce and Jay-Z release joint album

Beyoncé and Jay-Z's new album is available to stream and download - listen

Over the weekend, Jay-Z and Beyonce surprised music fans everywhere when they released a brand new joint-album titled Everything Is Love.

When Jay-Z and Beyoncé released their collaborative album on June 16, they stage-managed its release to cause maximum impact.

From standing nonchalantly in front of the Mona Lisa in their plush suits, upfront to the ancient Greek statue Venus de Milo to Jay-Z rapping in front of an Egyptian sphinx, throughout the "Apes**t" video, Beyoncé and Jay-Z repeatedly upstage some of the world's most well known and revered art and sculpture! When the superstar couple took the stage in London not only did they dazzle the crowd, the dropped their new album and premiered their video for "APESHIT".

Jay-Z has addressed ongoing rumours that he has an illegitimate son.

The two stars have recorded together previously, notably on the Beyonce-led single "Drunk in Love", but the album comes after an especially public window into their marriage.

On Beyonce's last solo album Lemonade in 2016 she talked about infidelity.

Trump defiant as outrage over family separations grows
Meanwhile, Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein - the UN's top human rights official - essentially accused the U.S. of committing child abuse. On Tuesday, the Department of Homeland Security said 2,342 children have been separated from their parents since last month.

"The music she was making at that time was further along".

On the final track, the joyously brassy "Lovehappy", the two acknowledge past pain but also their efforts to reconcile.

Everything Is Love was released in epic fashion. Let's just say we were not ready!

The rapper has shown his support for Colin Kaepernick, the now-unemployed National Football League quarterback.

"I said no to the Super Bowl / You need me, I don't need you", Jay-Z raps. The highlight is easily the stadium-ready banger "Apesh-t" - their best collaboration since "Crazy in Love" - which comes with a music video set in the Louvre museum (the rest of the tracks are available on Tidal, Spotify Premium, Amazon and Apple Music).
