Morning Roundup: Ayton works out for Suns

Deandre Ayton Has No Other Workouts Scheduled, Knows He's Going To Suns At No. 1

Deandre Ayton went through what he said would be his only pre-draft workout Wednesday and expressed supreme confidence that the Phoenix Suns will use the No. 1 overall pick to select him. However, he will not conduct any more workouts with other teams in the league ahead of the June 21 draft, and is a heavy favorite among analysts to be the top pick. He's projected as the No. 1 pick in mock Drafts by ESPN, Sports Illustrated, and Bleacher Report.

"I could see a little Shaq and Kobe 2.0" and included Devin Booker in that conversation back prior to the workout. I've worked hard. I won't say I'm the best player.

The 7-foot-1 Ayton averaged 20.1 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game in his lone season under Sean Miller. "That's just me. I think I deserve that".

Following the workout, Ayton and Suns general manager Ryan McDonough addressed the media, here's what they had to say.

"We take that obviously as a compliment, he has a lot of strong ties to this area".

Supporters of Trump Steadfast Despite Immigration Uproar
What's the reaction to the executive order? The executive order marks a major change for the president and his administration. Trump, Vice President Mike Pence spoke publicly on the issue for the first time at the meeting, ultimately echoing Mr.

When the seven-footer stepped to the podium after McDonough concluded his remarks, it became evident that Ayton has himself set on playing for the Suns to begin his National Basketball Association career.

The Phoenix Suns landed the number one pick and went into the lottery with the best percentage of doing so at 25 per cent. He brushed aside questions about his defense.

On offense, Ayton said, "I can score inside and out". "I haven't had the opportunity to really guard any bigs in college. I will say on the competitive level, I'm the best competitor".

Ayton likens himself to Kevin Garnett and Hakeem Olajuwon and he's not alone when it comes to comparisons to two Hall of Fame players.
