76ers weighing trade packages for Kawhi Leonard

"San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard has reached out to LeBron James, informing the 33-year-old superstar that he wants to play alongside him, a source told Yahoo Sports". As talented as Leonard is, he is coming off one of the strangest years by an All-NBA player in recent memory.

The Los Angeles Lakers are feeling the pressure to get a deal done for Kawhi Leonard.

For all the news that has come out about Kawhi demanding to leave the Spurs, super max money plus LeBron James is something that no other team would be able to offer. Those assets included Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, two future first-round picks, and possibly even Julius Randle in a sign-and-trade.

On Thursday, Stephen A. Smith said on ESPN's First Take that LeBron had sent Durant a text about joining him with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Adnan Januzaj , who was making his first start for Belgium in this tournament, netted the only goal of the game in superb fashion. If Southgate wanted second and the easier side of the draw, his message did not get through to the Leicester City striker.

In the latest batch of LeBron James rumors, the latest National Basketball Association buzz suggests that Kawhi Leonard to the Lakers would clinch LeBron James to join the purple and gold.

Adding more money to the books would make signing LeBron James and Paul George exceedingly hard, if not downright impossible, for the Purple and Gold. Does not trading for Leonard now ruin the chances of getting James this summer? That would be a blow to the Lakers, who reportedly had been anticipating that George, also a Southern California native, would join them this offseason.

James is widely expected to opt out and test the open market and there are multiple teams waiting to pounce if he becomes available. And while the Sixers have not made a formal offer to San Antonio at this time, Philadelphia has held serious internal discussions about acquiring Leonard over the last 48 hours. While it is believed Philly's efforts to trade up were in targeting Luka Doncic, the Sixers made it clear to teams they were not willing to part with players they rated highly and signed to reasonable contracts. However, the Lakers don't have the same trade chips as the Celtics and are also a conference rival for San Antonio.
