On Instagram, she shared a glimpse of how it went down by posting a screenshot of a conversation with Jared Eng of Just Jared.

McPhee has been sharing several shots from the trip, including a photo of herself sitting on a boat, leaning towards the camera as a dog lounged behind her, the Italian flag visible on the back of the craft. Well, he posted a photo with Katharine on Instagram and his daughters were quick to comment. In the snap, which you can see below, McPhee's left ring finger is clearly sporting something sparkly and massive, although it is hard to make out the details. Alas, her ring finger was hidden.

The upcoming marriage will be far from the first for the famous couple. David was formerly married to Yolanda Hadid, star of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills".

Foster has been married four times and has eight children from his previous marriages.
