National Basketball Association star Stephen Curry, wife Ayesha welcome baby boy

Ayesha & Stephen Curry are officially parents of three after welcoming their first son Canon, and we could not be more thrilled for the newly expanded fam!

After having two girls, Riley and Ryan, the couple now has a son. He posted a pic of the newborn, writing on Instagram, "On this journey, on this quest ... protect me ..."

Others thought they'd keep having kids until they had a son, some thinking that the National Basketball Association lineage needed to be passed from Steph to his son.

After a very challenging pregnancy, the 29-year-old celebrity chef gave birth to her third child with her National Basketball Association star hubby, a baby boy, on Monday. "I'm bless!", he wrote in a caption.

Ayesha gave birth to a baby boy named Canon W. Jack Curry on Monday (July 2).

The Currys, who Wednesday in 2011, announced they were expecting again back in February.

Canon joins sisters Riley, 5, and Ryan, 2. Ayesha wrote, alongside a photo of herself wearing a "Preggers" shirt.
