Giuliani doubts Trump would ever meet with Mueller

Trump lawyers call Comey 'Machiavellian' in note to Mueller

Scarborough included Michael Cohen, Ryan Zinke, Trump's charitable donations scandal, Scott Pruitt's many scandals, Trump's hotels, White House lawn sales pitches for Ivanka Trump products, Wilbur Ross, and even more.

Furthermore, Giuliani told host George Stephanopulos, Mueller's probe into Russian election meddling is "the most corrupt investigation I have ever seen" and "they've never really told us what they're investigating [the president for], which of course we want to know".

The biggest question hanging over the investigation right now is whether or not Trump will sit down with Mueller for an interview.

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents raided Cohen's home, office and hotel room in NY in April as part of a probe into his business dealings.

"My wife, my daughter and my son have my first loyalty and always will", Cohen said.

Giuliani appeared on Sunday morning talk shows, where the president's legal adviser urged Cohen to "tell the truth" about Russian election interference and the Trump Tower meeting with Donald Trump Jr. and Russian agents.

"We've been through everything on collusion and obstruction", Giuliani said.

Rudy Giuliani says he has "no concerns" about the possibility that President Trump's longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen will cooperate with federal investigators. "We're close to determining that".

"[Comey] could have taken it that way, but by that time he had been fired", Giuliani said. "You can't abridge your power to do it, that's something you can decide down the road one way or the other", Giuliani said. "Sorry, I don't see Michael doing that despite the disgusting Witch Hunt and the dishonest media!"

Among other things, investigators are looking into a $130,000 payment he handled as part of a confidentiality agreement with porn star Stormy Daniels, who says she had an affair with Trump in 2006.

Trump has often said he is ready for an interview in Mueller's 14-month probe, but Giuliani told CNN, "We'd like to know if there's any factual basis for the investigation originally or the developed one, because we can't find one".

The letter, obtained by the Associated Press, underscores the intense effort by Trump's legal team over the past year to tarnish Comey's reputation and pit the president's word against that of the former Federal Bureau of Investigation director.

Petrillo did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

"Now how you can say [the Mueller probe is] a legitimate investigation, well then there are no illegitimate investigations", Giuliani claimed on CNN.

Comey has said he told Trump about the dossier allegations because they were widely known in Washington, including by the media, and that he kept his memos because he was concerned that Trump might lie about their conversations.

"Simply accepting the denial of Mr. Putin is unsustainable", Cohen said.
