House of Cards Fourth of July Season 6 Teaser

‘House Of Cards’ Offers July 4th Message From The New President Underwood

Posted to Twitter, it finds Wright as President Claire Underwood, declaring: "Happy Independence Day".

The eight-episode season 6 of House of Cards will revolve around Robin Wright as US President Claire Underwood.

But production on the latest series was suspended when allegations of sexual harassment against Spacey emerged and the Oscar-winner was later dismissed from the programme.

How Frank will exit is not yet known, but it can't have been an easy task for writers to dispense with such a pivotal character, who, as of series five, appeared to have little likelihood of being written out.

The final season of "House Of Cards" will hit Netflix this fall.

Jenner also referenced her lips in a recent YouTube video, in which she gushed about daughter Stormi Webster's "perfect" pout . You look younger and so much more lovely this way".

But production on the political drama was suspended, and Spacey was sacked early last November amid more than a dozen men stepping forward to accuse the Oscar-winning actor of sexual misconduct. "We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show. That's the only thing that I feel I have the right to talk about", she said.

But this is what Guthrie did not ask Wright about: allegations, like the ones contained in a November 3 CNN report, that the set in Maryland where "House of Cards" was filmed was "toxic" with Spacey's abusive and predatory sexual behavior.

Wright told Today's Savannah Guthrie that the show's cast and crew were "surprised, of course, and ultimately saddened" after learning of the sexual misconduct allegations, but noted she was "so thankful" they were able to forge ahead and finish filming the series without Spacey.

"One former employee told CNN that Spacey sexually assaulted him", the November 2 report at cnn.com said. It will star Robin Wright.

No premiere date has been announced for the final season.
