Robin Wright speaks about ex-'House of Cards' star Spacey

Netflix

Robin Wright is finally speaking up about her former House of Cards co-star Kevin Spacey who was sacked from the Netflix drama amid allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct. Netflix ultimately fired Spacey, 58, from the series in November, ahead of its sixth and final season.

The actress goes on to describe Spacey as an "incredible craftsman".

Robin Wright was exclusively responsible for enabling the return of House of Cards after the Kevin Spacey scandal, her co-star Patricia Clarkson claimed.

"It was truly the great Robin Wright rallying", Clarkson told US show The Talk. She was not as powerful as Spacey, but she had enough power to say something if any part of what CNN alleged about that set was true. This meant that Spacey's character, President Frank Underwood, would be written off the show and replaced by Vice President Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) in the show's final season, for which a teaser indicated that Claire was ready to get rolling.

The character became the United States president at the end of the last season, a position previously held by her on-screen husband.

Last year, actor Anthony Rapp told Buzzfeed that Kevin Spacey made a drunken sexual advance towards him in 1986 when Rapp was 14 and Spacey was 26.

Jenner also referenced her lips in a recent YouTube video, in which she gushed about daughter Stormi Webster's "perfect" pout . You look younger and so much more lovely this way".

The news of allegations of sexual misconduct against Kevin Spacey were just as much of a shock to his House of Cards co-stars as they were to the rest of the world. "That's the only thing that I feel I have the right to talk about". He was never disrespectful to me.

"We were co-workers, we weren't never socialized outside of work", Wright also said of her relationship with the actor.

"This is a bigger, broader issue, I think".

Wright revealed on Monday that she has not spoken to her former onscreen husband since the allegations were made against him.

I think in this #MeToo moment, we all need to raise our games - especially the entertainment press, which has a history of having some interviewers playing nice in return for exclusive interviews.
