What Will Kate Middleton Wear On Prince Louis' Christening?

According to Francesca Specter, a journalist for Daily Express, the Duchess of Cambridge wore exactly the same designers for Prince George and Princess Charlotte's christenings.

On the day, William and Kate will also be joined by other senior members of the royal family, including the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and the newlyweds, Harry and Meghan - with the christening marking the Duchess' first as a member of the royal family. Prince William and Prince George both have Louis as a middle name.

On Monday, July 9, Prince Louis will be christened at the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace in London in front of a close group of family and godparents. Carole Middleton and her husband visited yesterday at Wimbledon, while Pippa chose the fourth day of competition to make an appearance in the company of his brother James.

Britain's Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, who Wednesday Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in May, will baptise Louis.

Dozens killed in Japan flooding, landslides
A residential area in Okayama Prefecture, on the main island of Honshu, was seeped in brown water spreading like a huge lake. At least 10 people are believed to have been buried alive by mudslides in Hiroshima Prefecture, according to Kyodo News.

Welby, who will baptize the baby by pouring holy water from the River Jordan over his head, said the event would be "very nerve-wracking" but "a great privilege". The last time the public saw the young prince was when his parents appeared with him outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London on the day he was born.

Sister Princess Charlotte was also christened about two months after Kate gave birth to her.

Prince Louis's life seems destined to pay homage to the history of his family, particularly the men.

The only thing that's pretty certain is that Louis will wear the same traditional frilly, cream gown George and Charlotte wore at their christenings. The dress is a replica of Honiton lace christening gown, which Queen Victoria and Prince Albert's first child princess Victoria wore at her baptism in 1841.
