Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton shine at Wimbledon - minus their husbands

Meghan Markle attends day two of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at Wimbledon in 2016

Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, was wearing a black and white patterned Jenny Packham dress with nude suede heels.

Kate has been seen cheering on players from the Royal Box for many years since marrying Prince William.

Social media has blown up over scheduling issues that may see the women's final at Wimbledon delayed.

Now word has emerged that Kate and Meghan, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex, will attend Wimbledon together this weekend.

According to PEOPLE, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex will meet with former female tennis champions before the match as well as talk with ball girls and boys to learn about what it is like to participate in the tournament.

The Duchess of Sussex will be returning from a busy royal tour of Ireland, where she and her husband Prince Harry have spent the past three days.

Middleton and Markle will be watching the ladies' singles final on Saturday, while Kate will join her husband Prince William at Sunday's gentlemen's singles final.

But fans were left bemused by Meghan's striking outfit - a striped shirt which they say has left her looking like a line judge. "That's why she is there where she is now", Kerber said of Williams. Especially now that I have a daughter, I want to be around as long as I can to support her. Williams has not lost a Wimbledon final for 10 years, last defeated by someone who knows her better than most - her sister Venus.

"We always have supported each other, just been there for each other through a lot".

Just 10 months after giving birth, Williams can complete an incredible comeback as she bids to become the first mother to win the tournament for 38 years.

They played for six hours 35 minutes before Anderson triumphed 7-6 6-7 6-7 6-4 26-24.

Williams admitted this time may be more hard, not least because she gave birth just 10 months ago, and has spoken about the tough delivery, which left her in hospital for six weeks.
