These Are Dummy Models of Apple’s Next iPhone

Apple's next iPad Pros tipped to get smaller and lose the headphone jack

Apple will roll out the iPad Pro models will Face ID instead of Touch ID ever since it was teased and rolled out in 2017.

This is set to change, however, as all three iPhones coming later this year are rumored to be minimal-bezel, notched affairs.

In terms of shrinking dimensions, the 10.5-inch tablet will be trimmed to 247.5 millimeters tall, 178.7 millimeters wide, and 6 millimeters thick. While Apple includes a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter to ease the blow for iPhone users, it will not do the same for iPad Pro users, according to Mac Otakara. Apple's annual fall event isn't expected until sometime in September, so there's still time for this information to be backed up by additional details.

The 12.9 inch model of iPad Pro is expected to have new dimensions, from 305.7 mm x 220.6 mm x 6.9 mm to 280mm (Height) x 215mm (Weight) x 6.4mm (Thickness).

There's been a lot of chatter about this year's iPads, with many expecting Apple to go the iPhone X way for its line of tablets.

Most of the rumors and reports about the upcoming iPhone devices state that Apple would be releasing three models this year. One will be the base model with a screen size of 10.5-inch while the top model will feature a 12.9-inch display.

Huawei overtakes Apple to become the world’s second-largest smartphone maker
It was bad news for the smartphone market as a whole, which saw a third consecutive quarter of year-over-year declines. It shipped nearly 13 million more handsets than Apple, which slipped to third place on the list.

But we've wondered how exactly the iPad Pro will handle Face ID.

Apple iPad Pro price: How much will it cost?

"Apple iPhone SE had an impressive diamond cut design packed in a small chassis with the specifications of iPhone 6S squeezed together in a 4" retina display hosted by iPhone SE.

While the headphone jack was removed from the iPhone 7 in 2016, this would be the first iPad model to see the 3.5mm jack be removed. With the new design the company aims to trim down the bezels and feature a bigger display without the home button. Additionally, similar to the new iPhone, Apple will also get rid of the TouchID fingerprint sensor and adopt the FaceID 3D facial recognition system.

The answer is that it doesn't look like Face ID will work in landscape mode at all, which will provide a bit of an odd experience in our mind.

Thoughts about iPad Pro having Face ID, but only in portrait mode?
