ALF set for a reboot

Remember ALF? He’s Back… In TV Reboot Form! Hide the Cat By Riot Fest

An ALF reboot is in the works at Warner Bros. Television is developing a reboot of the classic '80s sitcom "ALF".

Eighties sitcom ALF has become the latest comedy set for a reboot.

The original series, written by Murray Chapman, centers on a small, furry, arrogant extraterrestrial from the planet Melmac who's taken in by an average American family.

Trump had tweeted earlier that he was looking into the issue, adding, "Already spoke to NRA, doesn't seem to make much sense! ". Wilson said in an online video that the blueprints were downloaded more than 400,000 times before they were taken down in 2013.

It was created by Paul Fusco and Tom Patchett and starred Fusco (as ALF), Max Wright, Anne Schedeen, Andrea Elson, and Benji Gregory. In the case of ALF, this could do a lot for those who are prone to latching onto 80s nostalgia. They decide to let him stick around and name him ALF, which stands for Alien Life Form. Alf is now a pop icon, and the show is often referenced by other TV series llke "The Big Bang Theory" and "Mr. Robot".

Taking up residence with the Tanners, and hiding from the US government's sinister Alien Task Force, the house-bound ALF immediately introduces the irony-challenged family to an incessant barrage of hot takes and good-natured sass, endearing him - painfully at times - to Willie and Kate, and their two children: teenaged Lynn and younger brother Brian.

ALF ran for four seasons on NBC from 1986 to 1990. He has also appeared in commercials for DirecTV and Radio Shack, as well as the video game XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Though the studio has yet to officially comment on the news, Warner Bros.is reportedly in the process of looking for a writer to pen the ALF reboot. The project is in its early stages and a search is underway for a writer, sources tell Deadline.
