Mollie Tibbetts' Family Offers $172,000 Reward for Information Leading to Her Return

Mollie Tibbetts went for an evening jog last week and hasn’t been seen since

Although it's not immediately clear whether the red shirt belonged to Mollie, it was turned over to authorities for processing. Thank you all did your efforts to help us bring Mollie home. Check back with CrimeOnline as additional details become available.

Tibbetts' parents are adamant that their daughter is still alive, and have started raising money to fund a reward for her safe return home. Mollie stayed alone while watching the dogs. She never showed up. He said it looked like she took the photo while indoors.

Part of the investigation involves a reported sighting of Tibbetts at a truck stop in Missouri, about 380 kilometres away from her hometown. Her boyfriend, Dalton Jack, was the last person to hear from Tibbetts. All text messages remain unanswered.

One of the most powerful moments came when Calderwood said she felt her daughter's presence each day.

There was a possible Mollie Tibbetts sighting in Missouri. It now has over 40,000 members. Collum has joined hundreds of other volunteers in searching the area's cornfields and buildings for Tibbetts.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Poweshiek County Sheriff's Office at 641-623-5679.

Mollie has been missing for two weeks.

"It is our greatest hope that if someone has her that they would just release her and claim that money that we have raised for her freedom", Calderwood said Thursday at a news conference.

There have been few breaks in the case and investigators were following up on any lead they may come across.

The family spreads the search even further by distributing flyers across the state.

"The timeline is very important, obviously, to us, but it's also been very important to us to get to know Mollie and understand what's normal for Mollie, what's not normal for Mollie", Kevin Winker, director of investigative operations for the Iowa Department of Public Safety, said Tuesday.

A neighbor tells a local media outlet that he spotted Mollie "walking nonchalantly" down the street.

"Tibbetts is 5'2" and approximately 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Tibbetts was last seen wearing dark-colored running shorts, a pink sports top and running shoes.
