No Obstruction in Trump Tweet on Mueller Probe, Sanders Says

Donald Trump has called on the attorney general to end special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible Russian collusion during the 2016 election campaign.

"It's not an order", press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a press briefing Wednesday. In another tweet on Wednesday, Trump wrote, "Russian Collusion with the Trump Campaign, one of the most successful in history, is a TOTAL HOAX".

"This is a bad situation and Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further", Trump said in the tweet.

In negotiations with Mueller this spring, Trump's legal team sought a deal in which the president could provide written answers to some of the special counsel's questions.

Sessions has recused himself from oversight of the Russian Federation probe and is not even in a position to carry out the president's wishes without first ending the recusal.

Giuliani also said Monday that "the odds are against" a Trump interview with Mueller, but that he "wouldn't be shocked" if the President went through with it because he "wants to do it so badly".

"These kinds of threats are no accident".

"It seems even more vivid and serious evidence of criminal intent to obstruct justice - whether it is obstruction itself or not, it certainly indicated intent", Blumenthal said.

"He's panicking", Democratic Representative Don Beyer said on Twitter.

He has repeatedly criticized Sessions for recusing himself and CNN has previously reported that Trump pressured the attorney general on multiple occasions to overturn his recusal.

Despite warnings from GOP leaders, Trump continues shutdown threats
Trump said a shutdown could happen before or after the election in November-whatever it takes to get funding for the border wall. Trump is committed to getting action on immigration, though spokesman Hogan Gidley took a softer line than Mr.

Each time Trump communicates his desire to impede, end or decapitate (by firing Mueller or Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein), he gives prosecutors one more piece of evidence to fit into the portrait they are painting of a besieged president trying to avoid embarrassing disclosures.

The special counsel is also scrutinising whether there were any attempts by the president to obstruct justice.

Nielsen, Wray and Nakasone had all gathered earlier this week in New York City with leaders of top finance, energy and telecommunications companies for a cybersecurity summit, where they spoke of the urgent need for a collective, collaborative approach to security.

United States intelligence agencies concluded past year that Moscow meddled in the 2016 campaign to try to tip the vote in Trump's favor.

However, in a recent interview with VICE, Agalarov maintains that Trump Jr. did indeed contact him about it.

Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said that in his tweet Trump was expressing an opinion long espoused by his team. "Quite frankly, a lot of what we've had to work through over months and months is working with the states to make sure the states are in a place that they wanna be able to sign off on this bill".

"It's the president's opinion", she said.

Similarly, Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Tx.) implied that Trump's tweets were because the investigation was "leading closer" to the president.

"I just think they ought to let the Mueller investigation continue on its own course", said Senator John Thune, adding: "I hope it's done soon".

Robert Mueller, who is investigating the Russian interference in the 2016 USA presidential election, wants to interrogate the singer, Interfax pens.
