President Trump Takes a Shot at LeBron James Over Twitter

LeBron James

In a tweet posted late Friday night, Trump criticized James for an interview he recently did with another prominent African American, CNN anchor Don Lemon.

During the interview with Lemon, James talked about how sports can bring people together and mentioned he felt that Trump was using sports "to kinda divide us".

In his tweet, Trump insulted Lemon and then said that it's "not easy" to make James look smart. Trump is traveling to OH for a campaign rally on Saturday. This recent feud with the most powerful man in the world started when James accused Trump of dividing the nation through sports. Trump tweeted his LeBron venom a day before making a trip to, you guessed it, Ohio.

LeBron James and President Trump used Twitter for different purposes this week. LeBron is giving every student all sorts of benefits, from bicycles to free tuition at the Univ. of Akron.

Asked later what he'd say if he ever found himself face-to-face with Trump, he replied: "I would never sit across from him".

Tim Allen’s rebooted show won’t reveal whether character is a Trump supporter
But Mike Baxter probably isn't a vocal defender of President Donald Trump , Allen told TV critics Thursday. Barr's show, he replied , "They had to do what they had to do and it's their decision".

Don Lemon responded by saying, "Who's the real dummy?" Lemon tweeted. "A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages?" James is not one to let something go quietly and neither is Trump. But even some Trump allies chided the remark.

The interview that Donald is referring to took place after LeBron's foundation, the LeBron James Family Foundation, and the Akron Ohio Public Schools launched a new elementary school for at-risk children on July 30. He has used it to describe the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the NFL, Democrats, the filibuster, the nation's immigration laws, journalists, trade policies and how the nation's leaders have dealt with topics like Iraq, Muslims, Canada and China. He also called him a "so-called president" in the wake of the Charlottesville violence.

However, no longer is James in the Eastern Conference, as he chose to move west for the first time in his career and join the Los Angeles Lakers.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, the biggest name in basketball right now, has expressed an interest in playing at the NBA Africa game in the future, according to NBA commissioner Adam Silver.
