Video shows man taunting bison at Yellowstone National Park

The gates of the soft-release area were thrown open earlier this week as the bison left the fenced pasture

The bison was clearly not amused and charged at the man.

Rangers at Yellowstone National Park are calling the actions of a man who taunted a bison "reckless, unsafe and illegal" as they investigate his stupid stunt. One of those people was Reinke, who rangers drove to Helena, where he was booked into the Yellowstone Jail without bond, according to the National Park Service release.

In a statement posted on Facebook, Superintendent Dan Wenk called the man's actions "reckless, risky and illegal. He gestured to the animal to get off the road and then proceeded to challenge him", Jones said.

He walks towards the bison, makes arm movements and appears to yell at it.

The bison charges at him full-on and he begins to run away as the camera jerks.

Murray ekes out win in Washington — ATP roundup
McDonald wasn't happy with the incident as he went up to Gabas to have a word. "Long term, I haven't thought about that". Both held serve until the ninth game, when McDonald sent a forehand wide to hand Murray the break and a 5-4 lead.

Park rangers have not yet identified the man, but say they are "actively investigating," according to a post the park made on Facebook.

Visitor are advised to always stay at least 100 yards away from bears and wolves, and at least 25 yards away from all other animals, including bison and elk. These distances safeguard both visitors and the remarkable experience of sharing a landscape with thousands of freely-roaming animals. "People who ignore these rules are risking their lives and threatening the park experience for everyone else", Wenk said in the statement.

Past year there were five bison attacks in the park.

Wildlife expert and photographer Ron Magill told ABC News that people should remember these are wild, territorial animals.

This is not the first time animals have been caught fighting recently.
