UFC 227: TJ Dillashaw TKO's Cody Garbrandt In Rematch

And after Dillashaw stopped Garbrandt in the main event to cement his position as the UFC's bantamweight world champion, UFC analyst Joe Rogan put Cejudo's challenge to him, and received an emphatic answer.

For the first time since the UFC introduced the men's flyweight division in 2012, Demetrious Johnson is not the champion.

Garbrandt hit Dillashaw with a wide right hand that would close Dillashaw's right eye.

Unfortunately as Garbrandt then charged forward by thinking there was blood in the water, Dillashaw unleashed a perfectly timed counter right hand that dropped the OH native down to the canvas.

The rematch was another high-contact affair, but Dillashaw's chin was just a little better and his punching accuracy that much sharper and it was all that was necessary.

That Garbrandt, 27, put Dillashaw on the canvas in Round 1 was no surprise as Garbrandt has at least one knockdown in all seven of his UFC fights and averages 1.91 knockdowns per 15 minutes of fight time. Dillashaw remained composed and landed more shots against the fence, including a huge knee that had Garbrandt out on his feet before the referee stepped in.

Meet NASA's new astronauts
In fact, NASA is paying Boeing and SpaceX billions to fly Americans to and from the International Space Station. Each astronaut flew on two shuttle missions, including Hurley on the final shuttle flight, STS-135, in 2011.

After his historic flyweight title win, Cejudo said he wanted a crack at the bantamweight title next, and a shot at the night's main event victor.

For whatever reasons, American fight fans, both in boxing and MMA, tend to not get as excited over the smaller guys.

There is talk of a fight between TJ Dillashaw and Dominick Cruz, however, Cruz needs to win against a top contender before being granted a shot at the title. He now trains out of Los Angeles.

Henry Cejudo ended Demetrious Johnson's almost six-year reign as the UFC flyweight champion Saturday night, earning a split-decision victory for a stunning upset at UFC 227.

After the very competitive and exciting fight, it was announced that Cejudo had ended Johnson's historic reign via split decision.

Dillashaw retains the 135lb title he won from Garbrandt last year, in doing so consigning the Team Alpha Male fighter to the bottom of the ladder less than a year after he was its undisputed champion. Demetrious Johnson didn't go up (to bantamweight). Dillashaw is welcome to the opportunity of Cejudo stepping up to 135 to take a crack at the belt. I know what I can do with that right hand. Before the opening frame closed, Cejudo briefly took Johnson down and also appeared to land a hard left.
