Conor McGregor to Fight Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in October

Conor Mc Gregor Celebrates

After a two-year hiatus from the sport, the former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion will return to the Octagon to face current lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. But to maintain his sporting dominance, he has to eat right.

"For the fight with McGregor Khabib Nurmagomedov will receive a record sum for a Russian fighter competing in mixed martial arts", he said. "It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen". McGregor, though, never defended the strap as he courted a boxing showdown with Floyd Mayweather, leaving a vacuum in the division.

Considering those factors, putting McGregor and Nurmagomedov anywhere near each other could be like tossing a lit match into a Value-Added Tax of gasoline, but White promises that they'll have everything under control ahead of UFC 229. It's a rarity in combat sports, in that its mainstream, entertainment appeal is completely matched by its competitive legitimacy.

Maurizio Sarri expecting good news Courtois and Hazard
His agent Christophe Henrotay had revealed that he had told Chelsea that Courtois wanted to go to Real Madrid . Sarri said: "Loftus-Cheek I have seen him just for three, four trainings".

"And obviously for Conor, coming back from a two-year layoff, in my opinion - and it's insane to say this because of how popular he is around the world - but he's one of the most underrated fighters in the UFC". Two years ago, few could have fathomed a bigger fight for McGregor than a trilogy with Nate Diaz, but this matchup challenges that.

Dustin Poirier, who Diaz is scheduled to fight at UFC 230 on November 3 at Madison Square Garden, jokingly chimed in with a similar tweet, writing, "I ain't fighting on that show either F the ufc". Derek Brunson had some momentum going for him in the UFC after claiming a two-fight win streak, but that momentum was stopped when he was knocked out in the first round by Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza last January. If McGregor is even slightly underprepared, following his self-reported $100 million payday in the Mayweather fight, Nurmagomedov is capable of not only beating him, but embarrassing him. For the second year in a row, McGregor is on the bill.

White didn't disclose terms of the deal that was reached.
