Don't ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for Alex Jones.

Beginning on Monday, totally rational and not at all insane person Alex Jones is going to have to shout a bit louder to make his conspiracy theories heard.

In other recent actions against Jones, Facebook suspended the radio and Internet host's personal profile for 30 days in late July.

Since then, more content from the same Pages has been reported to us - upon review, we have taken it down for glorifying violence, which violates our graphic violence policy, and using dehumanizing language to describe people who are transgender, Muslims and immigrants, which violates our hate speech policies.

This is the first time a blanket ban has been imposed on Jones, who is now being sued by parents of children murdered in the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting for claims that the attack was a hoax.

Infowars did not immediately respond to a request for comment. YouTube took down four videos from the Infowars channel, which was also slapped with a 90-day suspension from live-streaming.

The announcement comes just as Apple announced it had removed the entire library of five out of six Infowars' podcasts, saying the video and audio files had violated its policy against hate speech.

The theories he has promoted include that the September 11, 2001 attacks on NY and Washington were staged by the USA government.

IRNA reported that all protests had taken place without official permission and were subsequently broken up by police. The videos could not be authenticated.

In a statement to Buzzfeed Sunday night, Apple claimed the company aims to provide a safe environment for all users.

Apple have removed shows involving Alex Jones from its podcast directory, the most significant blow yet to one of the world's most notorious conspiracy theorists and a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump.

Since founding Infowars in 1999, Jones has built a vast audience.

"We believe in representing a wide range of views, so long as people are respectful to those with differing opinions", Facebook wrote in a statement. A Spotify spokesperson told BuzzFeed that the company's hate content policy prohibits anything that "expressly and principally promotes, advocates, or incites hatred or violence against a group or individual based on characteristics".

Spotify, a music and podcast streaming company, followed suit last week when it removed some specific episodes of Jones's programmes.

He is being sued in Texas by two Sandy Hook parents, seeking at least $1 million, claiming that they have been the subject of harassment driven by his programs.

'Alex Jones has been responsible for harassing parents of Sandy Hook children, Vegas shooting victims and threatening to kill the Special Counsel.
