West Hollywood council wants to remove Trump star from Walk of Fame

Glendale man charged with vandalizing Trump star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Donald Trump's vandalized star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles at the time of the incident in July. The Chamber refused to remove Bill Cosby's star from the walk, and the various stars embroiled in the #MeToo movement who have stars all remain fixtures on the walk.

The star has become the setting for various anti-Trump protests since the maverick Republican announced his presidential run in 2015, and has been pulverized twice by men with heavy tools, only to be swiftly repaired.

Trump's star, which is located on Hollywood Boulevard near Highland Avenue, has been repeatedly damaged by angry demonstrators.

However, the decision to remove the star is not the West Hollywood city council's to make.

Duran said the council had never previously asked for a star to be removed: "Never have we intruded into our neighboring city's business like this".

9-Year-Old Boy’s Lemonade Stand Robbed at Gunpoint
Neighbour Kelly Smith said the robbery was "heart-wrenching", adding: "That little boy will never be the same". Deputies believe the suspect left a bicycle at an unknown location and walked to the lemonade stand .

Ahead of the vote on Monday, West Hollywood City Council said they were following the steps of the American film industry, which suspended "certain members of the entertainment community... due to their actions toward women". The decision allows it to move forward with a request to remove the star, which has been badly vandalised on several occasions since Trump took office a year ago. "When one belittles and attacks minorities, immigrants, Muslims, people with disabilities or women - the honor no longer exists", he told CNN.

Mr. Trump received the star in 2007 for his work producing the Miss America Pageant and before he starred in TV's The Apprentice.

Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame keeps getting destroyed so Mark Hamill has come up with a great solution to the problem: replace it with a star for Carrie Fisher.

This constant attempts at damaging Trump's star is indicating what? Austin Mikel Clay, 24, is facing one felony count of vandalism.

It should come as no surprise to anybody remotely following the political landscape that Hollywood harbors a strong dislike for President Donald Trump.
