Horrifying Moment Driver Ploughs Car Into Pedestrians Outside UK Parliament

Houses of Parliament crash

Police officers surrounded a silver auto which had hit several cyclists and arrested a man wearing a puffa jacket.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of terror offences after a auto crashed outside Westminster this morning. The police were very fast, they vaulted over the safety barrier and headed towards the vehicle.

Kent's MPs have reacted to a terror attack which saw a auto crash into the security barriers outside the Houses of Parliament earlier today.

"Officers remain at the scene and cordons are in place to assist the investigation".

British authorities said they are considering turning the area around Parliament into a pedestrian zone to prevent future vehicle attacks as police searched three properties for clues about the motivation of a man who plowed into cyclists and pedestrians.

In March past year, Khalid Masood, 52, killed four people on nearby Westminster Bridge and stabbed to death an unarmed police officer in the grounds of Parliament before being shot dead.

Witnesses described the auto as being driven at high speed before hitting barriers.

In June 2017, seven people were killed and dozens injured when three men rammed pedestrians with a vehicle at London Bridge.

But instead, as I stated, there was a report that said he has said something like 4,000 lies since he's taken office. She added that the remarks were made in reference to Kwame Jackson, an African American contestant on the show.

"The person driving did not go out", Ochab said. "I heard some noise and someone screamed", she said.

A man and a woman were taken to hospital with "non life-threatening" injuries after a silver Ford Fiesta drove through cyclists and pedestrians and into the barricade at 07:37 Monday morning.

"I saw smoke coming out of the vehicle".

She said: "You will notice that the security around parliament both in terms of armed officers and police officers and physical barriers has been further enhanced over the last several months and there is more to come on that in further months".

Two people were treated at the scene and taken to hospital for injuries that are not believed to be serious, according to the ambulance service.

The force said: "At 7.37am today, Tuesday, August 14, a auto was in collision with barriers outside the Houses of Parliament". Masood then stabbed an unarmed police officer.

The scene has been cordoned off, with the cordon widening as more police, including counter terrorism officers, arrive on the scene.

It was the first of five attacks on Britain past year which police blamed on terrorism.
