Olivia Newton-John Confirms Tragic Secret Cancer Diagnosis

The Grease star gave an extended interview on Australia's Sunday Night program in which she revealed another tumor was found previous year after it seemed she was in remission.

Olivia Newton-John has confirmed she's facing her third battle with cancer. She's cut sugar out completely, which has caused her to lose a lot of weight and she's undergone radiation treatments and is also taking cannabis oil for the pain. "But my husband's always there, and he's there to support me".

Sir Cliff said he was confident his friend would pull through, saying: "You can't help but think the worst but most of the time I think: she's thrashed this one before, she's not going to lie down on this one - never".

ET exclusively spoke with Newton-John in February, where she opened up about battling cancer a second time. She beat the disease after months of chemotherapy treatments and a partial mastectomy but revealed in May 2017 that the breast cancer had returned, spreading to her shoulder.

Outside of her own battles with cancer, the disease has struck another member of her family: Her sister died six weeks after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer in 2013.

Asked if she's scared, she said: "No, I don't go there".

So he makes me tinctures.

"There are moments. I'm human".

Olivia first noticed a lump in her shoulder back in 2013, following her involvement in a minor vehicle crash.

She said: "I thought "It's my life" and I just chose to keep it to myself".

The Grease star said that her husband, John Easterling, grows cannabis for her. "They help with pain, they help with sleep".

"I live in a attractive place, have a wonderful husband, all these animals I adore, I have an incredible career - I have nothing really to complain about".

"I'm a very privileged person, and I'm very aware of that", she said on "Sunday Night".

"I feel so fortunate to have had the success I've had, and to do the wonderful things I do", she continued.

"I'm very lucky that I live in a state where it's legal and that I have a husband that is a plant-medicine man". I have an incredible career.
