Vladimir Putin: Nothing criminal about men named as Salisbury attack suspects

Police stand guard outiside the City Stay hotel in Bow east London Britain 05 September

The British government has said Putin is ultimately responsible for the attack, a claim the Kremlin has furiously denied.

He said that there was "nothing criminal" about the two men and that he hoped they would come forward and tell their own story, adding: "That would be better for everybody".

Alexander Petrov, left, and Ruslan Boshirov have been charged by British police with attempted murder. Russian Federation has repeatedly denied any involvement.

The comments came one week after United Kingdom authorities charged two Russian men with using a Novichok nerve agent to poison former KGB spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.

"I would like to call on them so that they can hear us today: They should go to some media outlet".

British Prime Minister Theresa May said the use of a chemical weapon in the city of Salisbury, which left a British woman dead and four people, including Skripal and his daughter, seriously ill, was carried out by officers of the GRU intelligence service and nearly certainly approved "at a senior level of the Russian state".

"We know who they are, we have found them".

"There's nothing particularly even criminal about it, I assure you".

Novak Djokovic after winning US Open 2018
Sloane Stephens, who won last year's US Open and lost in the quarterfinals last week, dropped from No. 3 to No. 9. Federer holds the record of 20, followed by Nadal with 17, and Djokovic, who equaled Pete Sampras at 14.

The British government also released detailed surveillance footage tracking the pair's apparent movements and an image of the perfume bottle purportedly used to administer the nerve agent on the Skripals' front door.

Mr Skripal and his daughter Yulia were left critically ill after being exposed to the military grade nerve agent Novichok.

The UK was said to be braced for a Russian disinformation campaign after the prime minister told MPs last...

Ms Sturgess died in hospital on 8 July.

'It was nearly certainly also approved outside the GRU at a senior level of the Russian state'. He appeared to be implying that they were not the people who carried out the poisoning.

Mr Skripal, 66, and Yulia, 33, were poisoned in the United Kingdom in March.

London and its allies expelled dozens of Russian diplomats after the poisoning, prompting a tit-for-tat response from Moscow and plunging relations to a new low.

Prosecutors deem it futile to apply to Russian Federation for the extradition of the two men but a European Arrest Warrant has been obtained and the authorities are also seeking the assistance of Interpol.
