The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Have Revealed 2019's Nominees

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Tuesday announced its nominees for induction into the 2019 class, and it's a mix of new and old candidates.

To be eligible, of course, the nominees' first single or album must have been released before (and including) 1993.

The impressive members of The Hall now includes bands/artists across a variety of genres, including Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, KISS, David Bowie, ABBA, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith and the Eagles.

The ceremony is set to take place on March 29, 2019 in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center.

International Monetary Fund cuts global growth forecasts
The S&P 500 index edged 0.1 percent lower to 2,884.43, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.2 percent to 26,486.78. USA stimulus also adds to the "already-unsustainable" debt and deficit that will undercut future growth, the report warns.

Fans can also visit the museum in Cleveland to cast their vote in person using the Voice Your Choice interactives adjacent to the 2018 Inductee exhibit.

In previous years, between five and seven acts have typically made the cut.

LL Cool J and Kraftwerk were each unsuccessfully nominated four times in the past, while both MC5 and the Zombies have received three nods apiece to no avail. The same is true for Def Leppard, Devo, Prine, Roxy Music and Rundgren. It counts as just one voice among the hundreds of other ballots. Full information regarding tickets will be announced in January, and donors and members in good standing by December 31 will have access to a pre-sale beginning on an as-yet unannounced date.
