Will Smith reveals first post for Disney's 'Aladdin'

Will Smith has unveiled the first Aladdin poster and it looks as magical as the classic tale. We'll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Aladdin as more information becomes available. (Hence, the "diamond in the rough" line in the teaser.) The location ends up being where Aladdin finds the Genie's lamp, something that is set up by the teaser's final moment. Will Smith was the first actor to join the cast, signing on to voice Genie in July 2017.

Will Smith, who will play Genie, shared the poster on his Instagram on October 10.

"Choose wisely", the poster also teases. "Can't wait for y'all to see Me BLUE!" . The teaser cuts off right at the critical moment when Aladdin acquires the lamp, and doesn't go so far as to reveal the genie himself, who was originally played by Robin Williams in the animated movie, but will be played by Will Smith in the live-action version. Aladdin plans to uses these wishes to win over the handsome Princess Jasmine, but the evil Jafar has other plans.
